Boreash - bringing foot stomping beats to your
favourite traditional celtic tunes.
Formed in 1997 Boreash have had audiences up on their feet from the West Pomeranian coast of Poland to its Highlands and across Europe with their infectious brand of ‘turbo folk'. The perfect blend of celtic tunes and modern backing, with the melody still playing the key role.
The band consists of virtuosic and beautiful three fiddle players Monika Beszczyńska , Patrycja Suwała and Justyna Wołoch along with Wojtek Kucharski and Marcin Dąbrowicz on guitars, Rafał Mędlewski on keyboards, Lukas Mossmayer on bodhan and vocals, Irek Misiak on bass guitar and Piotr “Brajan” Brajewski on drums.
They released their debut CD ‘Celtica Show’ in 2002, and have since given hondreds of gigs and concerts. They also took a break back in 2006 and went on individual musical and family adventures. Now back together, the band has had a busy few months as plans are now afoot to release their new album in 2018.
